The @ied_official together with Detox - CID and Greenpeace Italia will present five eco-friendly collections during #PittiUomo. 
Following the launch of The Time is Now! in January 2019, the project has reached the final phase: the collections will be presented on Tuesday 11 June in the Corte-Courtyard areas of the Palazzina Reale in Florence.  The work has been brought forward by a group of 15 creatives selected from among the third year IED students of the Fashion Design and Fashion Stylist Courses at the schools in Milan, Rome, Florence, Turin and Como.

The two labels with a uniquely creative DNA join forces to create a streetwear-inspired denim collection, and this special collaboration will be presented and celebrated at a launch party on Tuesday, June 11th, at the Société Anonyme store.

The @Sartorio_official brand, with its strong sartorial imprint that is modern and casual, tells the story of a Neapolitan in the World, while the @kiredofficial brand is characterized by the combination of artisanal excellence and innovation. The two present their novelties for the first time in a new space at the Cavedio of the Lower Floor (Main Pavilion). Timeless collections that do not fall victim to fleeting trends, but which are in constant evolution, reinterpreting the codes of elegance and good taste.

The special graphic sign for The Pitti Special Click has been created by illustrator @angelicagerosa who has chosen to mix up items of clothing to create the perfect outfit by dipping into the various sections of the fair: a polka dot sock with a zig zag jacket, a tie with a diamond-shaped bag, jeans with a floral jacket and a starry hat. Collages and scraps of paper that perfectly interpret what happens when a buyer or a journalist arrives at Pitti Uomo, choosing garments from the various sections to create the perfect alchemy and give life to the season’s new look.  Where the passwords are color and mixture.

Contemporary classic: new challenges for the Pitti Uomo section 
From brands that present the evolutions of menswear and those that reinterpret men’s luxury, the attention moves towards design contaminations and connections with the other worlds of the fair. This is how the Pitti Uomo section at this edition presents a focus on the brands that represent the best of the contemporary classic universe, while overcoming the boundaries of the Main Pavilion also through independent spaces inside the Fortezza.

The brand’s participation in Pitti Immagine Uomo will include its tribute to the memory of @karllagerfeld, celebrating his immense legacy of creativity as an icon in the world of #fashion. On show, the SS 2020 collections of #menswear, #womenswear, #footwear, #eyewear, #denim, and #beachwear. All of which will be accompanied by a live performance by London-based artist @Endlessartist, the street artist of international renown whose controversial art has made him a star. During the four days of Pitti Uomo, the artist will create a 5x9 meter installation with a portrait of Karl Lagerfeld. The work will be reproduced in a limited edition of 50 T-shirts, which will be exclusively sold over the course of the fair.
