Anyone here a member of the “clean plate club”?  Or feel like they have to finish ALL the food that’s in front of them? 🤔 Listening to hunger & fullness cues can be difficult 🤷‍️ especially if you’ve been taught to “clean your plate”

Eating more than our bodies need can make us feel too stuffed, uncomfortable, and tired 
•

If you’re full and there’s still food on your plate, take the rest home to eat later!  And! It’s a great learning experience to see the amount of food you’ll actually need to prepare for next time

Salmon waldorf salad 🥗 comin atcha! Made with 1 salmon filet, 2 cups mixed greens, 1/2 cup grapes, 1/8 cup walnuts, 1/4 cup feta crumbles, and 1 Tbsp feta dressing from TJs - all for a VERY filling salad of 520 calories! You may just need to eat this in 2 sittings  Bake the salmon at 425 degrees for 15 minutes & season with a pre-mixed seafood seasoning 🤤

Baking your own fries  can be much healthier than buying them when you’re eating out - BUT there are many variations of fries to make an even BETTER option! Like this one  by @ilanamuhlsteinrd - try making turnip fries instead of potatoes! Save on starchy carbs & calories and still get a tasty treat

Something that may seem counterintuitive nutrition advice 🤓 is stocking up on frozen food. HOWEVER! this is something I actually recommend ALL the time! It’s honestly too stressful to feel like there’s too much fresh food in the fridge. AND it’s actually pretty easy to find good, wholesome ingredient foods down the freezer aisle

Finding wholesome, filling frozen foods is made EASIER by @luvofoods - Luvo is a pretty AWESOME company  their ready-to-go meals are made of whole grains, protein raised without hormones & LOTS of veggies. They have #glutenfree, #vegetarian & #vegan options  and you can easily read & identify ALL of the ingredients  which are #organic when possible and are all non-GMO  #sponsored #luvo •

Luvo meals are definitely awesome on their own - but if you’re a volume eater (like me) - you may want to add some non-starchy veggies. I’m doing it here by adding 2 cups of greens, 2 sliced tomatoes, and a little cheddar cheese - only adding about 200 calories to the meal. •
