Salmon waldorf salad 🥗 comin atcha! Made with 1 salmon filet, 2 cups mixed greens, 1/2 cup grapes, 1/8 cup walnuts, 1/4 cup feta crumbles, and 1 Tbsp feta dressing from TJs - all for a VERY filling salad of 520 calories! You may just need to eat this in 2 sittings  Bake the salmon at 425 degrees for 15 minutes & season with a pre-mixed seafood seasoning 🤤

For example, if you drink a glass of lemonade, that doesn’t really keep you full, does it? •

And in this example  you’d typically be more FULL - stay fuller for longer - if you ate these foods instead of blending them up to make a smoothie

It’s honestly too stressful to feel like there’s too much fresh food in the fridge. AND it’s actually pretty easy to find good, wholesome ingredient foods down the freezer aisle

Finding wholesome, filling frozen foods is made EASIER by @luvofoods - Luvo is a pretty AWESOME company  their ready-to-go meals are made of whole grains, protein raised without hormones & LOTS of veggies. They have #glutenfree, #vegetarian & #vegan options  and you can easily read & identify ALL of the ingredients  which are #organic when possible and are all non-GMO  #sponsored #luvo •

Luvo meals are definitely awesome on their own - but if you’re a volume eater (like me) - you may want to add some non-starchy veggies. I’m doing it here by adding 2 cups of greens, 2 sliced tomatoes, and a little cheddar cheese - only adding about 200 calories to the meal.

Here’s how I make my perfect 5-minute cauliflower rice: 1 bag (~3 cups cauliflower rice), 4 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese 🧀 (like in the green canister) & Trader Joe’s Everything But the Bagel seasoning (or just salt & pepper!). Sauté the rice with a cooking spray for ~5 minutes on medium-high heat in a pan - don’t add any extra water or else it will get too soggy! Add the seasonings afterwards and... voila! •

Now, of course this plan isn’t for everyone- it’s for those who either need about 1500 calories to maintain their weight or to lose some weight. You might need more or less calories than this and that’s ok! You do you

Let’s be real- most of us practically inhale our food. Chewing is step 1 of the digestive process. 
Chewing until the food is liquified before swallowing gives your digestive #enzymes a chance to access all the #nutritious goodness locked up in the food that you are eating. 
Barely chewing your food before gulping it down increases the likelihood that large food molecules will end up undigested in your colon, resulting in indigestion and gas- providing a buffet for harmful gut bacteria. Yikes.i

(NYC prices ) I stir fried the beef & broccoli for less than 10 minutes, transferee to a bowl, and then added low sodium soy sauce on top. Trader Joe’s actually has a great low calorie ginger dressing which also pairs super well! (That’s what’s pictured here ) 🥡
